Psoriasis treatment clinical trial

Dr. Ben Ehst of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Department of Dermatology is conducting a study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an injectable study drug compared with an approved medication and placebo in subjects who have moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.

You may be eligible to participate in this trial if you:

  • Have moderate to severe plaque psoriasis
  • Are between the ages of 18 and 75
  • Have never used Stelara in the past
  • Are in good general health

There is a 1 in 6 chance of receiving placebo for the first 12 weeks of the study. Participation will last 5 years and will include up to 25 visits in the first year, 10 visits in the second year, and then about 4 visits per year thereafter.

If you participate in this study you will be compensated $60 for each completed visit.
