Ganglion cysts usually grow from a stalk between two of the wrist bones. During arthroscopy, our hand experts can take out this stalk. This can make it less likely that these cysts will return. Ganglion excision can be used as treatment for ganglion cysts, soft, fluid-filled cysts that can develop on the front or back of the hand for no apparent reason.
