Movement Disorder Surgery

OHSU Clinic: Movement Disorder Surgery

Clinic Description

In partnership with the Parkinson Center of Oregon and Movement Disorders Program, neurological surgery provides a comprehensive spectrum of medical and neurosurgical evaluation and treatments for adult patients with movement disorders: Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia and spacticity.

We provide an integrated team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, nurses, therapists and neuroscience researchers with years of experience in surgical treatments of movement disorders, and a comprehensive treatment plan.

Brain surgery to reduce some of the symptoms associated with movement disorders is a delicate undertaking, but can offer amazing results for patients when neurologic evaluation is performed by knowledgeable specialists.
