Anesthesiology (Pediatric)

As part of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia and Pain Management provides clinical anesthesia coverage for pediatric patients at all OHSU Hospitals and Clinics including Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the Casey Eye Institute. We also offer comprehensive acute pain management services through the Pediatric Acute Pain Service and assistance with chronic pain management through the Doernbecher Pediatric Pain Management Clinic and the Coping Clinic. Finally, the Pediatric Sedation Service provides sedation and analgesia for children undergoing procedures outside the operating room, in such areas as radiology, pediatric heme/onc clinic, and the inpatient wards. Our Division also works closely with the Pediatric Critical Care staff and the Pediatric Trauma team, providing support in the areas of airway management, pain management, and sedation.
