Where Healing, Teaching and Discovery Come Together

Facial Treatments

Facial redness, wrinkles and less youthful-looking facial contours can make you look older than you would like. The Casey Aesthetic Facial Surgery Center offers a variety of treatments to restore lost fullness to the face and remove redness, lines and facial veins.

Our oculofacial plastic surgeon, Roger Dailey, M.D. who has 26 years of facial surgical experience, heads an experienced team of licensed aesthetician, Andrea Fontana, and certified technician, Dawn Goby-Scheckla, on-site.

Treatment for facial veins

Do you have spider veins or blotches you would like to get rid of? We use light and laser treatment to block the tiny blood vessels that cause unsightly redness. Once vessels are blocked, the body absorbs them. Treatment takes only a few minutes. Most people require two or three treatments to remove small vessels, and more for larger, dark-colored veins. Treatment is generally very safe, and the risk of scarring is small.

Treatments are not painful (some patients compare them to a rubber band snapping against the skin) and require minimal recovery, though you may have some swelling, redness or blistering depending on the treatment. This can be covered with makeup, and will disappear in approximately two weeks.

Before treating facial veins, we will discuss your health history, skin type, any other treatments you have had and your expectations for the procedure.

Hyaluronic acid for lines and folds

The fillers Restylane®, Perlane®, and Radiesse are used to fill in moderate to deep lines and creases on the face. They are made of hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in your body and gives the skin a full, youthful appearance. Like collagen, this substance breaks down over time. The use of a dermal filler can restore your skin to a younger, fresher state. Dermal fillers work differently from Botox.

Results from Restylane® and Perlane® typically last about six months. Injections are done in our suite at the Casey Aesthetic Facial Surgery Center by Roger Dailey, M.D. who is very experienced in the use of these and other dermal fillers. Along with our licensed aesthetician, Andrea Fontana, they can help you decide which dermal filler is right for you, alone or in combination with other treatments to restore a more youthful appearance.
