Treatment for tumors inside the eye, on the eye surface or in the orbit (eye socket) often requires a multidisciplinary approach. At Casey Eye Institute, we provide complete ocular oncology (eye cancer) services for tumors of the eye and eye socket affecting adults and children. Our team of eye surgeons work with radiation and medical oncologists and other surgical specialists to treat a wide variety of benign (non-cancerous) and cancerous tumors. Our intraocular tumor specialists (ocular oncologists) treat patients with choroidal melanoma, retinoblastoma, lymphoma, and vascular tumors inside the eye as well as tumors affecting the conjunctiva. Our cornea specialists have expertise in the treatment of tumors on the eye surface, including the full range of tumors involving the cornea and conjunctiva. Our oculofacial plastic surgeons are specialized in the treatment of tumors of the eyelids and eye socket including lymphoma, squamous cell and basal cell carcinoma, lacrimal gland and other tumors.
