Where Healing, Teaching and Discovery Come Together

Ocular Oncology

Treatment for tumors inside the eye, on the eye surface or in the orbit (eye socket) often requires a multidisciplinary approach involving ocular oncologists, radiation and medical oncologists and ocular pathologists. At Casey Eye Institute, we provide complete ocular oncology (eye cancer) services. Our doctors treat adult and childhood tumors within the eyeball (chorodial melanoma, retinoblastoma, lymphoma and others) with surgery, radiation or cryotherapy (cold treatment). Our eye surgeons, radiation and medical oncologists work together to treat tumors of eye surface or eye socket (orbit), including lymphoma, squamous cell and basal cell carcinoma, lacrimal gland and other tumors.
