Gene microarray shared resource
The gene microarray shared resource is is one of several OHSU resources supported by the Knight NCI Cancer Center support grant. The grant ensures that management and support services are available for the researchers and programs of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute.
The OHSU Gene Microarray Shared Resource (GMSR) was founded in 2001 with the mission of providing high-quality, affordably priced DNA microarray services. GMSR users have applied microarrays to gain valuable insight on complex disease mechanisms, the effects of therapies, the genomic profiles underlying a disease predisposition, the basic science behind developmental and other biological processes, stem cell biology and more.
