Longview
The goal of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute partnership with St. John Medical Center (SJMC) in Longview, Wash., is to expand and enhance SJMC’s oncology service . Our collaboration makes more cancer services available to patients in Longview and offers a seamless continuum of care to patients who need treatment elsewhere.
We will collaborate by:
- Creating programs to enhance cancer prevention, management and multidisciplinary care and treatment.
- Improving and access to cancer treatment, survivorship resources and clinical research.
- Allowing access to clinical care, clinical trial development, outcomes research, enhanced professional interaction, coordination of patient care, physician and nurse education and training and use of new technologies, including integrated electronic communications.
- Creating access to a shared medical record to help in seamless coordination of care.
