OHSU sponsors continuing professional development activities for physicians and other healthcare specialists in a wide variety of clinical areas, with special emphasis on primary care. Programs draw on the clinical and academic strengths of the OHSU faculty and are held throughout the year in many different locations and formats.

College of Pharmacy (joint program with OSU)
The Oregon HIPAA Compliance program is a comprehensive web enabled computer-based training course. It is specifically customized for the workforce of health care entities and is designed to meet the challenge of mandatory HIPAA training. Collaboration between Oregon Health & Science University and the Oregon Medical Association has made it possible to provide access to this program. A national firm, Health Care Compliance Strategies, Inc., developed the basic course content. The course has been customized for Oregon health care entities. The training needs of the entire workforce, from clinicians to the last employee are addressed.
