  • This conference is a one-day course designed for cancer care providers in clinical practice. OHSU Knight Cancer Institute physicians will provide a review and update of a wide range of current topics in oncology. Expert analysis and interpretation of the latest findings from national meetings will help provide a bridge between research and practice.
  • At the conclusion of the activity, participants will be able to:
  • Apply the results of recent clinical trials into selecting optimal cancer therapies for their patients.
  • Discuss the role of the immune system in the treatment of cancer and identify appropriate patients for immunotherapy.
  • Select patients who may benefit from targeted agents and may be able to avoid chemotherapy.
  • Apply the latest advances in cancer to their clinical practice.
