Information for Survivors
Once cancer treatment is over many people think it is a time of celebration and while it is, it is also the beginning of a new journey for the survivor. Without regular contact with your cancer care team, you may feel anxious and uncertain.
Some survivors have difficulty learning to live with uncertainty. Others may have physical problems, sexual concerns, fertility issues or fears about work. You may find your social networks inadequate post-treatment. Learning more about what to expect after completing treatment, coping with such concerns and making positive lifestyle changes can be helpful.
