The OHSU Parkinson Center presents a two-day conference highlighting best practices for caring for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) as a team of healthcare providers. This conference is appropriate for anyone providing care and professional support for people with PD, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, nurses, social workers, and exercise trainers.


Demonstrate understanding of:

  • Medical complexity of PD and common medical treatment (pharm, non-pharm and surgical)
  • Potential approaches and impact of therapeutic outcomes
  • Importance of comprehensive team care approach in caring for the PD client
  • How to incorporate learned techniques into therapy
