parkinsons treatment optionsThere are many effective medications for treating Parkinson's disease symptoms. But since everyone is different, it may take several tries to find the best medication(s) and dose to treat your disease.

The right combination depends on your stage of Parkinson's disease and specific symptoms. To get the best results, it's important to consult  a neurologist.

A team approach to treatment is important with Parkinson's disease. Key team members are therapists who specialize in neurological (nervous system) rehabilitation--physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists--can help people with PD and their families manage the disease and make the most of wellness.
