More than 70,000 Oregonians have Alzheimer's disease (AD), the most common cause of dementia in older adults, or a related disorder. These dementias become more common with increasing age.

More than half of Americans over the age of 85 develop problems with cognitive (thinking) impairment or memory. Experts at the Layton Aging & Alzheimer's Disease Center are dedicated to providing outstanding medical care, leading-edge research and education to tackle these dementia problems and provide Alzheimer’s help.
