Committees

The Hospital Integrity department reports to and works closely with the following committees:

Clinical Compliance Committee

The Clinical Compliance Committee is an oversight group for clinical compliance issues that relate to the OHSU Health Care System.  The Committee advises and assists the OHSU Chief Integrity Officer and recommends appropriate modifications to the Clinical Compliance Program.  The term "clinical compliance" is used to refer to compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations that impact or relate to the OHSU Health Care System.  The Committee is composed of members representing the components of the Health Care System.

Hospital Clinical Compliance Committee

The Hospital Clinical Compliance Committee is an oversight group for clinical compliance issues related to OHSU hospital services.  The Committee is advisory to both the Clinical Compliance Officer of the Hospital and the OHSU Clinical Compliance Committee.    The Committee also assists with the Clinical Compliance Program.  The term "compliance" refers to adhering to federal, state, and local laws and regulations; OHSU policies; coding and billing rules for third party payors that impact or relate to hospital services.  The Committee membership represents the hospital services of the Health Care System.

Faculty Practice Plan Clinical Compliance Committee.

The Faculty Practice Plan Clinical Compliance Committee is an oversight group for clinical compliance issues related to OHSU professional services.  The Committee is advisory to both the Clinical Compliance Officer for Professional Services and the OHSU Clinical Compliance Committee.    The Committee also assists with the Clinical Compliance Program.  The term "compliance" refers to adhering to federal, state, and local laws and regulations; OHSU policies; and billing rules for third party payors that impact or relate to clinical professional services.  The Committee membership represents the professional services of the Health Care System.
