Biography
Gloria Scalzo is a Registered Dietitian for the OHSU Surgical Weight Reduction Center and is a Certified Adult Weight Management Specialist with the American Dietetic Association. She earned her Master’s degree in Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University and completed her training to become a Registered Dietitian at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Gloria worked for three years as a bariatric dietitian at the Obesity Consult Center at Tufts-New England Medical Center, working in medical and surgical adult weight management. Currently, she also provides medical nutrition therapy for cardiac patients, and is the Adult Clinical Outpatient Dietitian for the OHSU Lipid Clinic.
