Biography
Dr. Yackel has been practicing general internal medicine at OHSU since 2002. He graduated from medical school in 1996 with an M.D. and Master of Public Health degree from the George Washington University. After completing his residency and serving as a chief resident at George Washington University, he came to Oregon for specialized training at OHSU in medical informatics. Currently, Dr. Yackel`s professional interests include caring for complex adult patients, teaching and promoting the use of clinical information systems, and administative medicine. In his free time, Dr. Yackel enjoys family activities, travel and volunteer work.
