Biography
Dr. Kevin White joined the Department of Dermatology in 2006. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by an internal medicine internship at Pennsylvania Hospital. He completed his residency training in the Department of Dermatology at OHSU as well as a one-year dermatopathology fellowship at University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. White practices both medical dermatology and dermatopathology. Dermatopathology, a sub-specialty of dermatology, is the diagnosis and treatment of the skin, hair and nails-and pathology-identification of diseases by studying cells and tissues under the microscope. With an interest in teaching, Dr. White has lectured and taught courses to physicians in the Pacific Northwest. He also regularly instructs residents and medical students in dermatopathology and medical dermatology. He is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Oregon Dermatology Society and the American Society of Dermatopathology.
