Biography
Ms. Tofte is a family nurse practitioner and provides care for patients with all types of dermatologic conditions. She has special interests in atopic dermatitis (eczema), acne, and is actively involved in clinical research studies within the dermatology department. Ms. Tofte is active on many boards, committees and national organizations. She has been on the Dermatology Nurses' Association board of directors holding the office of President from 2007-2008. She is the current chair of the Nurse Practitioner Society of the Dermatology Nurses' Association and sits on the board of directors for the National Eczema Association for Science and Education. She plays an active role in the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses' Association as an associate editor. With more than 20 years of clinical research in dermatology, Ms. Tofte is a frequent national and international lecturer and has more than 20 professional publications.
