Biography
Dr. Shindo is a nationally and internationally known thyroid and parathyroid surgeon. She has extensive experience in surgical treatment of thyroid and parathyroid disease. In conjunction with OHSU endocrinologists, she runs the multidisciplinary thyroid tumor clinic. She has a major interest in minimally invasive thyroidectomy and parathyroidectomy, and pioneered a sophisticated technique for accomplishing parathyroidectomy under local anesthesia and sedation.
