Biography
Now Dean of the School of Medicine, Dr. Richardson joined OHSU in July 2001 as Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Prior to that, he served as Bordley Professor of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Before joining Johns Hopkins, Dr. Richardson spent 15 years on the faculty at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Richardson`s clinical interests include children with airway disorders, chronic sinonasal infection and ear disease, sleep apnea, SIDS, head and neck surgery, laryngeal reconstruction, and neck masses. Dr Richardson is also active in the Doernbecher Sleep Program at OHSU.
