Biography
Dr. Mirza received his undergraduate degree in molecular biology and biochemistry from University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. He completed his internship and residency training at Oregon Health & Science University. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Traumatology at Harborview Medical Center Seattle, Washington. He specializes in adult trauma and reconstruction. His special interest include acute fracture repair, pelvic and acetabular fracture reconstruction, periarticular injuries, and nonunion repair. His research interests include clinical outcomes research, geriatric fractures, management of poly-trauma patients, and the biomechanics of fracture stabilization.
