Biography
Dr. McKelvey provides all inclusive child and adolescent psychiatric care for both acute and chronic conditions. He is especially interested in complex diagnostic problems, long-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and somatoform disorders. His research involves cross-cultural psychiatry, youth suicide prevention, and the adaptation of young physicians to the stress of caring for dying children.
