Biography
Jennie C. Leslie, MD has recently started as an Assistant Professor of Ob/Gyn at OHSU. Prior she was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ob/Gyn at Georgetown University and George Washington University and attending faculty at Washington Hospital Center's (WHC) Ob/Gyn residency in Washington, DC. There she served as a National Health Service Corp Scholar working with underserved patient populations. Her primary research interests are maternal and child health for HIV positive mothers and Latina birth outcomes. She completed her undergraduate training at Rice University in Houston, Texas, medical school at Mercer University in Georgia and Ob/Gyn residency training in Asheville, North Carolina at a UNC affiliated program. She has also served on the Ethics committees of each hospital that she has been affiliated beginning with medical school. She is board certified in Ob/Gyn and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and serves on their Committee for Health Care for Underserved Women.
