Biography
Ms. Lemmon has worked for over 20 years in the field of Urologic Oncology. She appreciates the complexity of a cancer diagnosis and what it means for the patient and his family. Navigating the health care system and making treatment decisions are great challenges. It is her goal to be able to provide cutting edge, comprehensive, collaborative, and compassionate care to prostate cancer patients and their families to assist them through this very difficult time. Her background in urologic oncology and extensive experience in genitourinary clinical trials give her a unique understanding of prostate cancer. She co-founded the OHSU prostate cancer support group and co-facilitated it until her retirement in 2007. She returned to OHSU to be the multidisciplinary prostate cancer clinic nurse coordinator in 2009. Grandchildren are a focus of her life. Gardening, music, traveling with her husband, and quilting are some of the activities she enjoys. Dianne also serves as a Parish Nurse and does volunteer Hospice work.
