Dr. Kuang provides all inclusive cleft lip, cleft palate and craniofacial care. For her cleft patients, she provides primary cleft lip repair, cleft palate repair, cleft rhinoplasty, alveolar bone grafting, lip revisions and jaw surgery. She was uniquely trained to perform cleft surgery associated with Naso-Alveolar Molding (NAM) and distraction surgery of the mandible, upper jaw, and midface. Dr. Kuang also specializes in fronto-orbital advancement and total cranial reconstruction for patients with craniosynostosis. She sees these patients through the multi-disciplinary Craniofacial Disorders Program. In the realm of pediatric plastic surgery, she treats children with prominent or missing ears, facial asymmetry, hemangiomas, vascular malformations and large congenital nevi. Dr. Kuang maintains an adult practice which includes facial reconstruction for trauma and cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation. This includes rhinoplasty, eye lifts, cheek and chin augmentation, and midface lifts. She is also fully trained in breast augmentation and body sculpting. Dr. Kuang believes in ethnic preservation in facial reconstruction and cosmetic surgery. With plastic and reconstructive surgery, it is important to understand how people see themselves, Dr. Kuang says, "Because the adage holds true, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder."
