Biography

Dr. Kolbeck and the staff at OHSU’s Dotter Interventional Institute are motivated to provide locoregional cancer therapy to patients through minimally invasive techniques. Hepatic arterial chemoembolization, Y90 (Yttrium) radioembolization and catheter-directed infusion techniques are frequently used in the treatment of liver cancer and liver metastases through a small access point in the common femoral artery. Additional locoregional therapies include radiofrequency ablation and cryoablation of more localized liver, kidney and lung tumors. Our team also can provide high-quality, long-term central venous access for chemotherapy and antibiotic needs.

Special Interests:

Local and regional therapy of cancer including chemoembolization and radioembolization as well as radiofrequency and cryoablation techniques primarily for treating the liver and kidney. Interventional radiology is also involved in the long-term central venous access required for many oncology patients.
