Biography
Heather Onoday practices in the Department of Dermatology as a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She provides care for patients of all ages with many types of dermatologic conditions with a special interest in dermatology surgery, cosmetics, and laser procedures. She is part of the team of providers caring for patients receiving Mohs micrographic surgery and has also been involved in dermatologic surgery research studies within the department for many years. Ms. Onoday has been a member of the OHSU dermatology team since 1996. Ms. Onoday is an active member of the Dermatology Nurses' Association, holding current committee and chair positions locally and nationally. She is the current President of the NW Oregon Dermatology Nurses' Association. She is a frequent lecturer and instructor at all levels of the organization. She also currently holds a position as an editor for the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses' Association and is a contributor and editor to additional dermatologic publications.
