Biography

Dr. Trueworthy completed his medical degree in 1966 at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, followed by residency at Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. After finishing his Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship at KUMC in 1971, he was a Major for the Air Force Medical Corps in Biloxi, Mississippi. Dr. Trueworthy received his subspecialty certification in pediatric Hematology/ Oncology in 1978. After serving for over 30 years at University of Kansas Medical Center, Dr. Trueworthy joins OHSU as an Adjunct Professor. His main interest is the clinical pharmacology of maintenance drugs for acute lymphatic leukemia.
