Biography

Juliana Hansen, M.D., is the Division Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at OHSU. She is also the Program Director for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency program. Her numerous clinical interests include breast and general reconstructive surgery as well as cosmetic surgery. She is familiar with microsurgical techniques for breast reconstruction, feeling that these options are essential for offering patients the best choices for aesthetic breast reconstruction. Dr. Hansen is currently expanding the division to provide expertise in perforator flaps for reconstruction.

Dr. Hansen is committed to women's health issues. She works closely with her colleagues at OHSU's Comprehensive Breast Cancer Clinic to provide her patients information on reconstruction at the time of their breast cancer diagnosis and to give them the option of immediate reconstruction whenever possible.
