Dr. Guise received her medical degree from the University of Washington in 1992. Her clinical interests include medical and surgical obstetrics and gynecology, obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound, breast-feeding, and pelvic relaxation. Her research interests include breast-feeding, health promotion and disease prevention, bacterial vaginosis, medical ethics, health systems research, and evidence-based research. She is currently working with the OHSU Evidence Based Practice Center to revise the U.S. Preventive Task Force Guide to Clinical Preventive Services.
