Biography

Dr. Alasmi provides all inclusive neonatal care for acute critical conditions in the NICU. He manages sick neonates right after birth and provide care for premature infants as well as infants with congenital and surgical condition including cardiac anomalies. He is experienced in general pediatric care as well managing follow up care of the high-risk infants together with their primary care practitioners. His research interest is in the field of neonatal nutrition and metabolism. He is a well-known academic speaker with more than 100 presentations both nationally and internationally. He has a diverse administrative background serving as former head of neonatology section and director of neonatology fellowship training program in previous positions.
