Academic and Clinical Positions
Resident, Family Medicine at South Waterfront
Jade was born in San Diego and raised in Pittsburg and Philadelphia, where she developed a strong sense of commitment to service and community. She made the trek back to the west coast for undergraduate training in Pharmacology, followed by several years of working in pre-clinical research for a pharmaceutical company in San Francisco. She moved to Portland to pursue her MD at OHSU, and she has fallen in love with this academic center and this city. Jade looks forward to working with patients to achieve health in all aspects of their lives, especially mental and physical health. She believes family medicine is in a unique position to change health care delivery and to provide the most comprehensive care for patients and their families. By placing an emphasis on prevention with a focus on nutrition and healthy lifestyles, she is particularly excited to provide continuous care in the context of her patients' physical, social, and mental health. When she is not in the clinic, you can find Jade outside, racing her bicycle or cruising around Portland on a tandem bike, nourishing her kale and tomato garden, swimming in the Sandy, spoiling her niece, or playing board games with her friends.
