Kristin Bendert is a Midwesterner - she has lived in Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri. After having graduated from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine with her MD/MPH, she is excited to head west to Portland and OHSU to complete her training in Family Medicine. She chose this specialty because of its emphasis on full-spectrum care, wellness and prevention, and the opportunity to care for patients at all wakes of life. She practices full spectrum family medicine, including caring for adults, children, geriatrics, and providing low risk obstetrics and newborn care. Her areas of interest include primary care, women and children’s health, reproductive health, and preventive medicine. Other professional interests include public health, medical education, community health, and patient education. Outside of clinic, Kristin enjoys spending time with family, running, cross-stitching, and is a bit of a foodie.
