Dr. Tsai provides clinical services for children with unique physical and behavioral features and developmental delays. She diligently diagnoses her patients via modern technology such as microarray, various molecular assays and exome sequencing. She also exhausts all current treatment options and then explores possible trials. She has helped to develop the treatment modalities for short gut syndrome and Pompe disease by GLP-2 and Myozyme.

Her special interests include autism, craniofacial syndromes, neurodegenerative diseases, lysosomal/mitochondrial disorders and Sterol Metabolism and Biosynthesis defects.
