Dr. Fields received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1986. He completed his family medicine residency at OHSU in 1989. After completing a fellowship, he joined the faculty of the Department of Family Medicine, focusing his time in the education of students and residents. As a family physician, Dr Fields has a special interest in maternity care and adolescent health. He serves as Vice Chair of the Department of Family Medicine and has led the development of the department’s clinical information system to monitor and improve the quality of care to patients. In addition to being an avid tennis player, Dr. Fields and his wife Vicki enjoy fishing, gardening, landscaping, and snorkeling.
