Clinical Oncology Dietitian
Shannon Rentz specializes in helping adults manage cancer related nutrition impact symptoms. She also focuses on promoting prevention as well as survivorship for care after cancer treatment. Shannon has over four years of experience as a specialist dietitian working with oncology patient. Nine years of experience at OHSU working as the outpatient general dietitian providing medical nutrition therapy for diabetes, weight loss surgery, neurological diseases, cardiac issues, celiac disease, renal and liver disease. Her goal is to provide support along with the medical team to improve patient outcomes. Shannon enjoys meeting and talking with people, creating new friendships, and spends her free time with her husband – they love going on walks at the beach, hiking, cooking or traveling together.
