Julie N. Graff, M.D.
- Special Interest:
- Prostate Cancer
- Accepting Patients:
- English, Spanish (some)
Dr. Graff's research focus is mostly focused on prostate cancer. However, she does have expertise in bladder cancer. There are studies open at OHSU in each of these areas. She is completing bench work on the effect of c-reactive protein (CRP) on docetaxel resistance in in vitro prostate cancer cell lines. She is designing clinical trials that decrease plasma CRP levels with the hope that response to docetaxel chemotherapy will improve. She has also designed a study looking at immunotherapy in patients with metastatic prostate cancer that is not ideally responding to androgen deprivation therapy. The patients for this study should have known metastatic disease and a PSA greater than 0.2 ng/mL despite nine months of androgen deprivation therapy.
