Biography
Carol received her nurse-midwifery training at Yale University. She received her doctorate in nursing from the University of California at San Francisco. She is the Director of the Nurse-Midwifery Education Program and Associate Dean for Practice in the School of Nursing. She has served on the Board of Directors of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and has also been the president of the ACNM Certification Council, the national certifying organization for nurse-midwives. She and her husband have two children. Together, they enjoy camping and hiking, Shakespeare, going to UW Husky football games and visiting their grandson in Boston.
