Biography
Dr. Heitner has research interests in differentiating hypertrophic cardiomyopathy form the athlete’s heart utilizing strain imaging and applanation tonometry. He is involved in research using strain imaging and cardiac staging in cardiac amyloidosis. Dr. Heitner is developing new non-invasive measures of arterial and blood flow response after transcatheter heart valve replacement
