Biography
Penni has been a certified nurse-midwife since she graduated from the Yale program in 1980. Her practice has primarily centered around out-of-hospital care, in a home birth practice and at a birth center on Long Island, NY. She returned to Oregon in 2001 and since then has happily been with the OHSU midwives. She is fluent in Spanish, and has traveled extensively to several Latin American countries to provide women’s health care. Other interests include horse camping, hiking and being an elder at the Oregon County Fair. She has five children and one grandchild (so far).
