Biography
Gupta's major clinical and research interests are coronary artery disease and complex valvular heart disease. He is an expert in interventional catheter based minimally invasive procedures (such as stent implantation, valvuloplasties). In addition to internal medicine, Dr Gupta holds current national board certifications in Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. Dr Gupta has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He serves as a principal investigator on several ongoing clinical trials at OHSU and is very active in raising awareness about coronary artery disease, both among medical professionals as well as in the community.
