Biography
Dr. Gradin grew up in the Portland area. He volunteered for 11 years at Kikuyu Hospital, near Nairobi, Kenya, where he worked alongside Kenyan colleagues in building a program for high volume cataract surgery in adults and children, and he participated in surgical outreaches to remote rural areas and refugee camps. He is working at the Casey Eye satellite clinics in Longview and Astoria, where he specializes in cataract surgery with intraocular lens placement, and medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma.
