Biography
Dr. Deveney specializes in colon and rectal surgery and gastrointestinal surgery. Her research interests include inflammatory bowel disease, medical education and colon cancer. She received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1972, and completed her Surgery residency at UCSF. She received her Board certification in Surgery in 1979. Dr. Deveney heads the Surgery Residency Program, and is fluent in German.
