Biography
Dr. Chung earned her medical degree from the University of Alberta. She is board certified in internal medicine (1998) and neurology (2003). She received her training in Movement Disorders from OHSU. She joined the OHSU movement disorders faculty in 2004. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Neurology with the Parkinson Center of Oregon and the Parkinson's Disease Research, Education, and Clinical Center (PADRECC) at the Portland VAMC. Her research interests are focused primarily on Parkinson's disease. Her special interests are the understanding and treatment of dyskinesia, gait and balance abnormailities, neuroprotective strategies, and the study of biomarkers in Parkinson's disease. Dr. Chung is an expert clinician for all movement disorders and Tourettes syndrome.
