Biography
Dr. Barton spends most of his time engaged in direct patient care and in teaching fellows and residents at OHSU. Barton is active in clinical work encompassing nearly all aspects of interventional radiology. His research interests lie mainly in assessing the effectiveness of new therapeutic modalities. He is also interested in exploring ways to use computers, networks and telecommunications to facilitate medical care, teaching, and research. Barton is a member of the SCVIR membership and Internet committees. In his spare time, Barton enjoys spending time with his family. He volunteers as a basketball coach at his children's school. He is an avid hiker and photographer and spends much of his summers camping throughout the West.
