Stephen A. Back, M.D., Ph.D.

Biography

The focus of Dr. Back's research is in cerebral palsy in relation to etiology and cellular/molecular basis of cerebral white matter injury in premature infants. He currently serves as the Director of the Pediatric Brain Injury Research Laboratory at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. He received his board certification in Neurology, with special certification in Child Neurology, in 1997. Dr. Back is fluent in Spanish.
