Biography
Jim Anderson, MD joined the faculty in July of 2001. Dr Anderson spent his training in the midwest, primarily in Nebraska and Kansas. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he received his BS in 1986 and his MD in 1990. He completed his internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and then moved to the University of Kansas at Wichita for his residency in diagnostic radiology, which he completed in 1995. Before returning to academics for his fellowship, Dr Anderson spent several years working as a Locum Tenens radiologist for solo and group radiology practices in Kansas. He took time out in 1998 to spend four months working as a Locum Tenens in Timaru, New Zealand. After six months spent teaching radiology at the Bedford County Medical Center in Shelbyville, Tennessee, Dr Anderson completed a fellowship in neuroradiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He stayed on for a year at Vanderbilt as an Assistant Professor of Neuroradiology. Dr Anderson is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American Society of Neuroradiology and the Eastern Radiology Society.
