Biography
Brigit grew up in Corvallis, Oregon and graduated from Cornell University. She completed a fellowship with The Congressional Hunger Center, and then earned a medical degree and master’s of public health from Oregon Health & Science University. As a family physician, she hopes to provide holistic care across the life cycle; to strive toward innovation in health care; and to serve as a patient advocate through research and policy. Her interests include children’s health, reproductive services, treatment of addiction, and care of urban underserved communities. Outside of medicine, Brigit enjoys backpacking, gardening, cycling, and exploring the outdoors with her husband.
