Biography
Dr. Adams specializes in urogynecology and women’s pelvic floor dysfunction (such as prolapse, urinary incontinence, and painful bladder syndrome). Her research interests include painful bladder syndrome (interstitial cystitis), pelvic floor injury after childbirth, and minimally invasive pelvic surgery. Through her experiences as an EMT and in the military, Dr. Adams came to understand the incredible value of quality of life. She chose to focus on urogynecology after discovering it to be a tremondous opportunity to assist patients in restoring their quality of life. Being a doctor combines her love of science and technology with the joy of healing and improving lives. Originally from San Jose, California, Dr. Adams came to join OHSU because of the tremendous resources and opportunities available in such a lovely city like Portland. Dr. Adams also enjoys spending time outside hiking, running, and camping with her dog Cooper. In the winter she loves to snowboard.
